Oooh! I love the additional detailing. :) The comment version was like the radio play -- lots of dialogue -- and this one's like the staging script (you get exposition and visuals too). Shiiiiny!
And I'm getting closer to done with the recipes -- now the trick is figuring out the timing to make it actually possible for one person to finish all that prep work in something resembling the right order with them all getting done at the right time. Good thing I have neighbors who like both Indian food and my experimental cooking, to feed the test runs to. :)
a-and I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up posting Tifa's remix of Zack's remix of his mom's version too. Because proper Keralan and Goan and Tamil cooking takes hours and hours and hours, and I don't have time to do that on a regular basis. So I've got lots of standard shortcuts for homemade Indian cooking (tomato paste or canned tomato soup plus dry-toasted spices, yogurt/butter/condensed milk, and sauteed onions for most red curry / makhani / tikka bases; cashew (or peanut) butter, milk-substance, and toasted spices for most northern / korma bases; etc) and I'm sure Tifa would be much more willing to cook the fast versions to keep Marlene and Loz happy than the slow versions... *sweatdrop* overthinkeritis strikes again!
